FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
United States Notary Association Offers Free Notary Journals and Thumbprint Pads for Members

Irvine, CA. January 2, 2024

The United States Notary Association (USNA) is excited to announce a new membership benefit aimed at enhancing the professionalism and security of notarial acts. Effective immediately, all USNA members can order free Notary Journals and Thumbprint Pads as part of their membership benefits. This initiative underscores the USNA’s commitment to supporting notaries public in upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Notary Journals serve as essential tools for notaries to record detailed information about each notarial act they perform, including the date, time, type of document, identification presented, and other pertinent details. By maintaining accurate and thorough records in Notary Journals, notaries can demonstrate their commitment to compliance with legal requirements and best practices.

Thumbprint pads provide an additional layer of security by capturing the thumbprint of signers alongside their signatures in the Notary Journal. Thumbprints serve as a unique identifier, helping to deter fraud and provide additional evidence of a signer’s identity in the event of a dispute.

“We are thrilled to offer free Notary Journals and Thumbprint Pads to our valued members,” said Jennifer Martin, Director of Communications And Public Relations of the USNA. “These tools are essential for notaries to maintain accurate records and enhance the security of notarial acts. By providing them at no cost to our members, we are furthering our mission of promoting excellence and integrity within the notary profession.”

The provision of Notary Journals and Thumbprint Pads aligns with the USNA’s ongoing efforts to equip notaries with the resources they need to perform their duties with confidence and competence. By offering these essential tools as part of the membership package, the USNA aims to empower notaries to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in their practice.

“Maintaining accurate records and implementing security measures are critical aspects of notarial practice,” added Jennifer Martin. “With the provision of free Notary Journals and Thumbprint Pads, we are empowering our members to meet these standards and fulfill their responsibilities with diligence and integrity.”

All current and new USNA members are eligible to order free Notary Journals and Thumbprint Pads. For more information about membership benefits or to join the United States Notary Association, please visit notaryassn.org.
