Permitted Uses of Materials

Prohibited Uses of Materials

Name and Logo

Except for United States Notary Association members in good standing, User agrees not to use the name of United States Notary Association, or its logo for any promotional or commercial purpose or any other purpose without the prior written consent of United States Notary Association.

Prohibited Uses of Web Site

User agrees not to post any false or inaccurate biographical information, delete or change any information posted by another person, or share User’s password with any third-party.
User agrees not to post material that is copyrighted without first obtaining proper written consent from the copyright owner.

Web Site Security

Interference with Web Site operation: User agrees to not access or use the Web Site in any manner that could damage, disable, impair or cause undue burden on the Web Site and/or its host, servers, network, systems or other users. In addition, by posting information on the web site, User grants any other user the right to access, display, view, store and reproduce this material solely for their personal use.
By submitting any information to United States Notary Association, you represent and warrant that the submission is accurate to your best knowledge, not confidential and not in violation of any contractual restrictions or other third-party rights. United States Notary Association does not represent or guarantee the truthfulness, accuracy or reliability of communications posted by users or endorses any opinions expressed by users. User acknowledges that any reliance on material posted by other users will be at your own risk. Registration and Password

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their information and password. United States Notary Association Member Directory

By using United States Notary Association’s Online Directories, you hereby accept and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions: The United States Notary Association Directories and all content are proprietary to the United States Notary Association. The content of the Directories may not, in whole or in part, be reproduced, republished, duplicated, disseminated, downloaded, entered into a computer database, used as part of or in connection with the preparation, revision, or confirmation of a commercial mailing, database, telephone, fax, e-mail, or other marketing list, or otherwise utilized, in any form or manner or by any means, except for the user’s individual personal or professional use, or upon prior written permission by United States Notary Association on a limited case-by-case basis. The presence of information about United States Notary Association members in this Directory represents only that these individuals are members in good standing of the United States Notary Association; it does not represent their consent to allow any other professional, personal, or commercial use of the Directory information by third parties, or to receive any marketing or related communications, except that inquiries to obtain professional translation or interpretation services from potential customers or the public may be made directly to the members.

Termination of Account

United States Notary Association reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to pursue all of its legal remedies including, but not limited to, deletion of User’s postings from the web site and immediate termination of User’s registration with the web site or ability to access the web site and/or any other service provided to User by United States Notary Association, upon any breach by User of these Terms and Conditions or if United States Notary Association is unable to verify or authenticate any information User submits to the web site for registration. United States Notary Association shall not be liable to User nor any third party for any termination of User’s account or access to the web site.

United States Notary Association Membership Refund and Cancellation Policy

The United States Notary Association reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership in the United States Notary Association.
If United States Notary Association refuses a new or renewing membership, Users/Members will be offered a refund.

Membership Cancellation by User/Member

New Membership cancellations (Initial memberships) received within 30 days of registration are eligible to receive a full refund. The full refund policy is published here. Please review this document for detailed information regarding our refund process and eligibility criteria.
Cancellations received after the stated deadline (30 calendar days)  will not be eligible for a refund.
Cancellations will be accepted via member account support page
All benefits and incentives received by a Member must be cancelled/returned to the United States Notary Association.
Membership certificate must be returned to the United States Notary Association by mail.
All refund requests must be made by the credit card holder.
Refund requests must include the name of the member.
Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
These above policies apply to all United States Notary Association memberships.

Waiver of Liability

United States Notary Association does not screen or censor User-generated content made available on the web site. United States Notary Association is not liable for any content posted on the web site. User assumes all risks associated with dealing with other users with whom User comes in contact through the web site. Should a dispute arise between User and another user, User hereby agrees to release United States Notary Association from all claims, demands, and damages associated with such a dispute.
